Bridging the gap between classroom training & clinical practice
SIMS Medical Center was created to provide a state of the art educational environment where students and healthcare personnel obtain new skills and refine existing competencies. We believe that patient simulation allows students to develop the most professional teamwork, communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
SIMS Medical Center uses patient simulation to bridge the gap between education and clinical practice. In order to do that, we create an interdisciplinary environment that provides realistic hands-on clinical experiences with the expectation that patient care will be improved.
