SIMS Medical Center uses patient simulation to bridge the gap between education and clinical practice. In order to do that, we create an interdisciplinary environment that provides realistic hands-on clinical experiences with the expectation that patient care will be improved. We believe that patient simulation allows students to develop the most professional teamwork, communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
